It incorporates high-density acoustic foam that helps isolate your mic from undesired background noise and sonic reflections. Its vented ABS plastic shell allows the sound of your voice to pass through without reflecting back into the mic, yielding professional vocal impact with the type of close, full tone your voice deserves.

At approximately 10" wide and 10" high, the Desktop Isolation Filter is the ideal companion for upright, side-address condenser mics with cardioid polar patterns. Since it comes with a 5/8" adapter, it works with the vast majority of shockmounts, mic clips, and mic holders. Getting the optimal placement is no problem, thanks to the height-adjustable desktop tripod stand, which is both stable and fast to set up.
